Greensboro Church Packing Boxes of Hope For Suffering Kids Overseas

GREENSBORO, NC - Saturday, churchgoers and volunteers at Mt. Pisgah United Methodist Church are hoping to give 12 million children a reason to smile.

Local volunteers are hoping to pack over 32,000 shoe boxes with toys, school supplies, and hygiene items for kids. These are kids overseas who are suffering from poverty, a natural disaster, war, terror, disease or famine.

The goal of the project is to show how a simple shoebox can bring hope to children in 100 different countries.
