NC State Highway Patrol Graduates 30 Troopers

SHP GRADUATES 30 TROOPERS - RALEIGH - The State Highway Patrol (NCSHP) welcomed 30 new troopers at a recent graduation ceremony at Colonial Baptist Church in Cary. 

After 29 weeks of training, cadets will report to their respective duty stations on Wednesday, Oct. 19 to start field training. 

"We are pleased to graduate 30 new State Troopers today, who are beginning their careers in one of the most challenging yet rewarding careers in society," said Colonel Bill Grey, commander of the Highway Patrol. "They are a welcome addition to a professional workforce dedicated to protecting and serving the citizens of this great state."
