2 Arrested, 2 Wanted in Lexington Bank Robbery: Police

LEXINGTON, N.C. -- Lexington Police say two men are in jail and two men are wanted for multiple crimes including a bank robbery and breaking and entering. 

Police were called to the State Employees Credit Union on Piedmont Drive on Thursday. Police say two men walked into the bank armed with handguns and demanded money with a note. 

A witness told police three men drove away from the scene. Police arrested one suspect on Hankins Drive and another suspect at a home on Federal Street. 

During the investigation, police have seized several guns. They say some of the guns were stolen during a breaking and entering at a home that happened the same week of the bank robbery. 

Jason McIntyre and Zackary Mauldin were both arrested. 

McIntyre was charged with robbery with a dangerous weapon, conspiracy to commit robbery, breaking and entering, and three counts of larceny of a firearm. He is in jail on a $600,000 secured bond. 

Mauldin was charged with aid and abet robbery with a dangerous weapon and conspiracy to commit robbery. He is in jail on a $500,000 secured bond. 

Police are still looking for Dante Dalton and Darian Shellman. Both are wanted for robbery with a dangerous weapon and conspiracy to commit robbery. 

Police say Shellman is also wanted for breaking and entering, and three counts of larceny of a firearm.
