$5K Reward Offered In Mayodan Man's Murder

MAYODAN, N.C. -- Mayodan Police hope an increase in reward money will lead to an arrest in the murder of Daniel "Danny" Wayne Turner.

Governor Pat McCrory announced Thursday the state will offer a reward up to $5,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible for murdering Turner.

Police say Turner, 40, was shot in the head on February 14, 2013, at a location on West Washington Street Ext. He later died at a hospital.
