Burlington Police: Robbers Force Employee Back Inside Business, Steal Money

BURLINGTON, NC -- Burlington Police are looking for two men in connection with a robbery that happened early this morning.

Police say they responded to Gold Rush Junction on North Church Street just before 1:00am in reference to an armed robbery. An employee told officers that as he was leaving the business for the night, two men ordered him out of his vehicle at gun point and ordered him back inside. The employee told police they forced him into the back office where they took an undisclosed amount of money. The men ran away and were last seen running north toward Hilton Rd.

The employee was not injured during the incident.
