During an investigation, the North Carolina Highway Patrol found that the school bus driver didn't activate the stop arm or warning lights to indicate someone was getting off.

The school system says the bus driver resigned the day after the accident.

Crawford is at the Alamance County Jail, and no bond information is available right now.
