Greensboro Man Dies After Fight That Led To Shooting: Police

GREENSBORO, NC - A Greensboro man died after a fight turned violent and he got shot, according to police. 

Greensboro Police said they responded to the 300 block of West Carmel Street in reference to a shooting. 

When they got to the scene they found 34-year-old Dexter Cornelius Brown suffering from a gunshot wound. Brown was taken to a hospital where he later died. 

Police say after an investigation they found Brown and 31-year-old Willie Edward Davis were fighting, and during the fight Brown was shot. 

Davis was arrested and charged with 1st Degree Murder.
