Man Accused Of Trafficking Opium Arrested In Randolph Co.

SOPHIA, NC - Detectives in Randolph County arrested a man who they believe was trafficking opium. 

The Randolph County Sheriff's Office said they received a call about drug activity on the 4000 block of Brad Rd in Sophia. 

After searching the house, detectives seized 38 units of Hydrocodone, 4 units of Oxymorphone, a small amount of suspected marijuana, and numerous items of drug paraphernalia.

Detectives also found 14 firearms along with ammunition and $7,069.

Jeremy Dean Bell is now facing multiple charges including Trafficking in Opium, Possession with Intent to Sell / Deliver, Possession with Intent to Manufacture / Sell / Deliver Marijuana and more. 

Bell has a $100,000 secured bond
