Man Barricades Himself in Pfafftown Home: Police

Stand Off in Pfafftown

PFAFFTOWN, N.C. -- Officials say a man has barricaded himself inside his Pfafftown home.

Forsyth County Sheriff's Office says a deputy went to the home around 5:30 p.m. Wednesday to serve a restraining order. The man was also ordered to give up his guns.

Chief Deputy Brad Stanley says the man did not cooperate with the deputy.

Stanley says the deputy and a woman who was inside the home were able to leave the home safely. No one is being held hostage.

Winston-Salem Police have taken over the stand-off situation.
