2 Charged After Man Found Beaten To Death Outside Fayetteville Bar

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. (AP) - Investigators say a man has been beaten to death in the parking lot of a Fayetteville sports bar.

Police said in a news release that two men and the victim got into a fight in the parking lot as they left 301 Wingz around 12:25 a.m. Sunday.

Hubert Underwood II, 37, and Steven Rosser, 26, are each facing one count of first degree murder, police said.

Authorities say the men beat the victim unconscious, left him in the parking lot and drove off.

Police say the victim was taken to the hospital and died a short time later. That person's name has not been released.

Police are asking anyone who saw what happened inside the sports bar or in the parking lot to call them. No arrests have been made.
