Man Charged In String Of Burglaries In High Point

HIGH POINT, N.C. -- A man has been charged in connection to a string of robberies in High Point.

Police said the man charged, Luis Daniel Martinez-Martinez, was arrested on Wednesday after driving with a revoked license. The very next day, the man was arrested again after police said he attempted to get away from a business robbery at the Metro-PCS located on South Main Street. He was later found in a wooded area.

Investigators said Martinez-Martinez was also tied to burglaries at the following businesses:
Ana’s Salon, Authentic African Hairs, Mini Nails, Napoli’s Pizza and Subs, Salon De Belleza, Monte Alban, and Trans4mation Nutrition.

Martinez-Martinez was served with the following warrants while in jail and include: six counts of Felony Breaking and Entering, 3 counts of Felony Larceny After Breaking and Entering, Attempted Felony Breaking and Entering.
He was placed in the Guilford County Jail with a bond of $350,000.
