Man Robs Burlington Convenience Store With Gun: Police

BURLINGTON, N.C. -- A convenience store in Burlington was held up at gunpoint early Tuesday morning. 

Police responded to Dave's Mini Mart on Chapel Hill Road around 6 a.m. because of a silent hold-up alarm. 

The clerk told officers that a man with a covered face and a ball cap walked into the store, pointed a gun, and demanded cash. 

The clerk was not injured.
