Multiple Charges in Burlington Drug Bust

BURLINGTON, N.C. -- The Alamance Narcotics Enforcement Team and the Burlington Police Department served a drug search warrant at a home on Grace Avenue in Burlington on Thursday.

Investigators say they had received multiple complaints about drug deals and prostitution.

During the search, investigators seized 13.3 grams of cocaine, 1 gram of heroin, 4.4 grams of marijuana, 12 oxycodone pills, along with drug paraphernalia and a firearm.

Authorities identified 62-year-old Robert Bruce Williams, 27-year-old Rashard Jessie Harris, 28-year-old Scottie Vontral Freeland, and 36-year-old Priscilla Lynn Twine at the apartment.


Williams was arrested and charged with maintaining a dwelling for the sale of a controlled substance. He was placed in the Alamance County Jail under a $1,500 secured bond. 

Harris was arrested and charged with possession of a firearm by a felon, felony possession of cocaine. Authorities placed him in the Alamance County Jail under a $75,000 secured bond. 

Freeland was charged with possession with the intent sale deliver cocaine, possession of heroin, manufacture heroin, simple possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was placed in the Alamance County Jail under a $125,000 secured bond. 

Twine was charged on a North Carolina General Citation for simple possession of marijuana.
