Police: Man Flashed Charlotte Girl At Bus Stop

Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police stated that a man exposed himself to a 14-year-old girl as she waited at her school bus stop.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Police are searching for a man they say exposed himself to a 14-year old girl while she was waiting for the bus.

Monday morning, Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department reported that between 8:00 and 8:45, a man pulled up in a vehicle at the intersection of Bancroft Street and Norris Avenue in North Charlotte, while a 14-year old girl was waiting for the bus.

CMPD said he offered to give her a ride to school, and then exposed himself to her.

Ciara McManus lives just down the street and says she's not surprised that something like that would happen in this neighborhood, but she's disgusted that it allegedly did.

"It's just crazy," McManus said. "I feel like no parent should feel like their child is in danger at a bus stop. It's a bus stop."

Police say they haven't made any arrests yet in this case.
