Police: Robber Tied Up Married Couple In Their Greensboro Home

GREENSBORO, N.C. – Greensboro police say a man forced his way into a home and tied up the couple who lived there before robbing them.

The incident happened Saturday night in the 1900 block of Lynette Drive.

According to investigators, the man pretended to be an insurance salesman. They say he pulled out a long gun and hit the woman with it.

The victims told police the man left in a brown Ford Explorer.

EMS treated the couple for non-life-threatening injuries.
