HENRY COUNTY, VA -- The Henry County Sheriff’s Office is investigating after several political signs were vandalized.
The Sheriff’s Office said it’s a criminal offense to damage or destroy political signs. Investigators will use cameras to try and catch the vandals.
The Sheriff’s Office said, “While elections certainly stir emotions for and against candidates, it is the right of each property owner to have a sign of their choosing on their property. We hope people will respect this and exercise their right to vote on Election Day without vandalizing signs.”
