12-Year-Old Turns Self In For Shooting at Burger King Employees

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) – A child turned himself in on Monday evening after opening fire on employees at a Little Rock Burger King.

Around 7 p.m., officers responded to the Burger King at 5900 Dreher Lane for a disturbance with a weapon call.

Employees told police that the suspect, later identified as a 12-year-old boy, told them to give him the money in the register. They all thought he was joking until the boy pulled out a handgun.

Employees then ran to the back of the store and the suspect started shooting towards them. He then ran out the back door while still shooting.

He later returned to the scene and turned himself in. After further investigation, he was charged with aggravated robbery and transported to the Juvenile Detention Center.
