Suspects Wanted In Durham City Bus Explosion

DURHAM, N.C.-- Durham police need help identifying three men in connection with leaving a small bottle explosive device on a city bus.

Police say the men got on the bus around 9:30 p.m. on Tuesday in the area of East Main and Dillard streets. They got off the bus later a few blocks away. Police say they left a plastic drink bottle under a seat and it blew up less than a minute later.

A passenger and the driver of the bus were taken to the hospital and have since been released.

Police say one teen was wearing a purple ball cap with a pink bill, a dark sweatshirt, green cargo shorts and white and purple sneakers. Another teen was seen wearing a light-colored shorts and T-shirt with writing and the number 22 on the front. The third teen was wearing a light blue shirt with writing on the front and light-colored long pants.
