GREENSBORO, N.C. – Greensboro police are investigating after three people were shot Monday afternoon on McConnell Road. 

North Carolina A&T State University sent out an alert about the shooting that occurred off campus near Sebastian Village.

Police said an officer was in the area and heard the shooting and saw people running.

One person was taken to Moses Cone Hospital by car. Two others were treated by EMS for gunshot wounds and also taken to the hospital. Police said their wounds are non-life threatening.​​​​​​​
