18-Month-Old Killed In Hit-And-Run; Police Looking For Person Of Interest

GREENSBORO, N.C. -- Greensboro Police say an 18-month-old girl died after she was hit by a truck, and then the driver just took off. 

It happened shortly after 10 a.m. Saturday at a home on McKnight Mill Road near Summit Avenue. Police say the little girl, Amariama Doris Pulliam, was in the driveway when she was hit by a 2003 Ford F-250 Super Duty pick-up truck as it backed out of the driveway. Guilford County EMS pronounced her dead at the scene. 

Investigators say the truck left the home traveling south on Summit Avenue and was later found abandoned at another location. Police are looking for a person of interest connected to the hit and run. 

The crash is still under investigation by Greensboro Police Department Crash Reconstruction Unit.
