Two Found Shot to Death in Wilkes County; Teen Charged

WILKES COUNTY, N.C.-- A teenager is facing charges in a double homicide after deputies found two people shot to death in a driveway in Wilkes County Thursday night.

Deputies responded, just before midnight, to a reported disturbance involving gunshots at a house in the 200 block of Peace Valley Road. When deputies arrived to the location, they found a man and a woman dead. Investigators said they had been shot to death in the driveway.

The victims were shot and killed during a domestic situation that happened at the house, investigators said.

Detectives arrested and charged 17-year-old Kenneth Wayne Myers, Jr. with two counts of Murder.

The names of the victims and their relationship to the teenager have not been released.

The investigation is ongoing.
