SEAGROVE, N.C. -- Moore County Sheriff deputies arrested three people in connection with the murder of a 71-year-old Seagrove man.
A third suspect has been charged for the murder of Elden Kitson Vanderwal's death.
Authorities responded to Vanderwal's house on August 23 in reference to a fire. Vanderwol was found dead inside and a medical examiner determined the man was murdered prior to the fire being started.
Thursday the Moore County sheriff's office charged 27-year-old Dannie Deddie Smith with first degree murder. Smith is at the Moore County Detention Center with no bond. He's scheduled to be in court on Nov. 25.
Jesse Levon Martin, 31, and Debra Raegan Dorsett, 23, both of Asheboro, are each charged with murder.

Vanderwal was known in the Seagrove community for his pottery.
Martin and Dorsett are being held in the Moore County Detention Center without bond.
