GREENSBORO, N.C. -- Summer vacation is usually an exciting time for kids, but it can be hard on students who rely on free school breakfasts and lunches to get through the day.
That's why Guilford County Schools offers free meals over the summer to students.
Starting on June 20, students 18 and under can get free breakfast and lunch at schools around the area.
The meals are served Monday through Thursday. Breakfast runs from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. and lunch is served from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The programs lasts through August 17 at most locations.

- Fairview Elementary (Until July 27)

In Greensboro, lunch will also be offered at Northeast Park, Claremont Estates, Peeler Rec Center, Turnbridge Apartments, Northland Apartments, Autumn Forest Trailer Park, Leman Apartments, Dartmouth Apartments, Ashleigh Apartments, Northwind Apartments, McConnell Crossing, Barber Park Keely Park, Windhill Court, Hampton Elementary, Glen Haven Apartments, Cone Elementary and New Hope Missionary Church.
In High Point, lunch will be offered at Park Street Terrace, Brentwood Crossing, New Gate Apartments at Grandby Ave., Oneka Ave. and Grayson Street, Laurelwood Apartments, Bellemeade Apartments, The Oaks at Silver Ridge, YMCA, Meadowbrook Apartments, Igram Woods Apartments, Kendall Street Apartments, Spring Valley Apartments, Ambassador Court Apartments, Thomas Street, Camden Street, Drew Avenue, Moreland Avenue, and West Street.
