Get ready to grab a glass of Fine Swine Wine this weekend at the Lexington Barbeque Festival this Saturday.
For the 13th time, Childress Vineyards is coming out with a special Fine Swine Wine Blend to accompany the barbeque.
This year’s blend features “rich, bright flavors of cherry and ripe strawberry,” according to Childress Vineyards’ website.
You can look for them at the wine garden on Saturday during the festival.
The label of the bottle was designed by local artist Bob Timberlake. The “Gold Pig” reflects Lexington’s long history with barbeque.
The 3rd annual Pre-Pig Shindig will kick off the festival on Friday from 6 p.m.-10 p.m. at Childress Vineyards, before the actual Lexington Barbeque festival which starts Saturday at 8:30 a.m.
