Greensboro Goes Hi-Tech With Its Newest Library

GREENSBORO, N.C. -- In this age of technology, something as a simple as a paperback book can get lost in the shuffle, but the City of Greensboro hopes it can take that technology and bring books back to the forefront.

The Glenn McNairy Branch Library is set to open in Greensboro Friday at 3 p.m. The library is located at 4860 Lake Jeanette Rd. in Greensboro.

The hi-tech library features 15,000 sq. ft. of learning opportunities. There's a children's area with an interactive pirate ship, free WiFi, space for meetings and events, and for those who need a boost while reading and studying, there's a food and coffee bar.
