GREENSBORO, NC - The Greensboro Fire Department is doing their part in helping out our Carolina neighbors in anticipation of Hurricane Matthew.
14 Swiftwater Rescue Technicians will be going to South Carolina to help in case of an emergency.
The team leaves Friday morning to the South Carolina Fire Academy in Columbia.
Greensboro originally planned to send 34 people to eastern NC, but changed plans after Matthews path shifted.
