2 Test: Wrapeez

2Test: Wrapeez

AUSTIN, TX -- Holiday shopping season is here. That means gifts and the wrapping process: paper, scissors, tape, ribbons, bows, and bags-- they're all part of the process.

But one product claims to make wrapping presents mess free! The question is: does it work? Quita Culpepper with our sister station KVUE put Wrapeez to the 2 Test.

Wrapeez says it's the modern solution to gift wrapping...no tape, no scissors, no mess. The stretchable reusable bags come in pretty patterns and in small medium and large sizes.

The instructions say "All you do is stretch it over apparently and tuck in the extra fabric."

First slip on the bottom bag -- then the one with the faux bow effect. Quick and easy.

Culpepper said you can't see through the fabric and the eco-friendly bags are washable

She found Wrapeez does great when it comes to square boxes -- but it claims to also work well on oddly-shaped gifts. The results for that gift weren't as good, the small was too small and the medium was too large to fit well. But hey, it's covered, right?
Wrapeez is a good concept.

"They even come with their own little gift tag, but it didn't do as well on small or odd-shaped packages as I'd like."

Culpepper said Wrapeez gets a thumb in the middle.
