Those are the three basics when it comes to traveling. However, it's always the small bills to tip people forget.
Let's start with the shuttle driver who's dropping you off at your hotel. Experts recommend $1 to $2 per bag.
At the hotel, tip housekeeping. TripAdvisor recommends anywhere from $2 to $3 a day will do. Leave it on your pillow each day when you leave the room, so there is no question the money is for them.
If you're getting your hair cut, you should leave a 15 to 20 percent tip.
When it comes to drinks, $1 to $2 per drink will do, unless it's a special drink.
“If they’re mixing 6 ingredients you may want to give a couple dollars, at least 20 percent.” Liz Taylor, Etiquette Expert said.
When it comes to food, 20 percent is pretty standard.
