A Kohl's coupon offering $70 off any purchase of $80 or more on everything in store is fake.
The coupon started circulating on Facebook last week and while it looks real, there are several red flags.
First, you will notice the logo and style are different from a real coupon from Kohls.com
Take a closer look and you will also see that the style in which the expiration date is written is different from a real one.
The fake coupon links to a website called kohlspromos – which is not affiliated with the legitimate Kohl's site.
You might not want to click on it, in case schemers are trying to steal your information.
The real Kohl's website is kohls.com.
Whether it's this coupon or another one you see online, there are a few more ways you can spot a fake deal.
-Watch out for a reward that's too good to be true.
-Make sure the deal comes directly from the retailer's website or a reputable coupon site.
-You should be able to go directly to the company's site and find the same deal on their site.
-And beware of any coupon without an expiration date.
