Trader Joe's Recalls Hummus Products Due To Possible Listeria

GREENSBORO, N.C. – Trader Joe’s is voluntarily recalling two of its hummus products due to the possibility of listeria.

The recall includes the Mediterranean Hummus and the White Bean & Basil Hummus. It includes “USE BY” dates up through and including 12/15/16 and it has a plant identification code “C.”

Listeria can cause serious infections in the young or frail. Healthy people may suffer high fever, severe headache and other symptoms.

Do not eat the hummus. You can return it to any Trader Joe’s for a full refund. If you have questions call 626-599-3817.
