What Are They Thinking? Reading Body Language During A Meeting

GREENSBORO, NC -- All this week, 2WTK is talking about the environment. From the outside environment to your work environment.

Body Language expert Blanca Cobb shows what to do when you're in a meeting or conducting a meeting to show interest. "No head bobbing, but a nod now and then, a tilted head to give the person talking 'your ear', and maybe a little lean in."

What if someone is unresponsive? What can we do without yelling at them re-focus them or get their attention? Blanca says don't point to them, but do use your hands and arms to help you add intention to your points. "And smile. People think they can't be powerful and smile at the same time. But smiling is one of the easiest ways to get other people to talk back."
