95 Grams Of Cocaine Found In Diaper Bag During Alamance Co. Traffic Stop

BURLINGTON, NC - Over 90 grams of cocaine were found inside of a diaper bag during a traffic stop in Burlington Monday.

The Alamance County Sheriff's Office found 95.85 grams of cocaine inside a diaper bag with the suspect's three children in the car. 28-year-old Donovan Jeffries of Haw River was charged with Felony Trafficking in Cocaine, Misdemeanor Child Abuse, Possession of Cocaine within 1000 feet of a school, Misdemeanor Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and was served with an outstanding warrant for an additional incident for Trafficking in Cocaine.

Jeffries was stopped for a traffic violation near the intersection of W. Webb Ave. and N. Church Street while driving a 2000 White Chevy Silverado.

Jeffries is being held in the Alamance County Detention Center under a $750,000 bond.
