Arrest Made After Fatal Greensboro Stabbing

GREENSBORO, N.C.-- Police in Greensboro say they made an arrest after a man was fatally stabbed Monday afternoon.

Officers told WFMY News 2 they arrested Shasawanna Sheleka Harris, 35, in connection with the death of Mlyvin Vincent Brown Jr., who died from a wound to his neck Monday.

Guilford Metro 911 received a call around 1:26 p.m. Monday from a person who said a man came to their door covered in blood and then collapsed. Officers were dispatched to the Elms Apartments on North Elm Street where they found 31-year-old, Mylvin Vincent Brown, Jr. with a stab wound to his neck.

Emergency Medical Services personnel began performing advanced life-saving procedures on Brown, who was later pronounced dead at Moses Cone Hospital, police said.

Brown's death is still under investigation.
