Boy Donates Hair To Help Children With Cancer

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – We all have different ways in which we can help others.

Chase Yoder, a 10-year-old boy in Winston-Salem, decided to grow his hair out to donate it to children with cancer. He had all 12 inches of his hair cut Friday at Jennifer Kaye's salon on West Fourth Street.

His mother says the donated hair will go to Hawk's Locks, a foundation of the Green Bay Packers football player, A.J. Hawk. Hawk and his wife, Laura named the foundation after his own "golden locks" which peek out from his helmet every game.
