Cause Of USA Pawn Fire In Greensboro Undetermined

GREENSBORO, N.C. – The Greensboro Fire Department has concluded its investigation of a fire Monday at USA Pawn on Randleman Road in Greensboro.

The fire is ruled unintentional, but the cause is undetermined.

Deputy Fire Marshal Todd Lynch said in a statement, "It is not unusual for a fire investigation to conclude without an actual cause of ignition being revealed."

An employee, 25-year-old Richard Pera Mao, died in the fire. No other injuries were reported.

Police closed southbound lanes on Randleman Road from Lawrence to Terrell streets most of Monday while crews controlled and investigated the fire.
