Train Carrying Corn Derails In NC

SHELBY, N.C. -- A train transporting corn derailed Tuesday morning spilling hundreds of pounds of corn.

The accident happened sometime after 10 a.m. along Airport Road in Cleveland County just north of Shelby.

Several cars filled with corn spilled down an embankment and onto the road.

No one was injured and the cause remains under investigation.
