Lexington BBQ Festival Attracts Pork Lovers From All Over

First Time At The Lexinton BBQ Festival

LEXINGTON, N.C. –  Folks near and far know one thing - Lexington barbecue has it's own distinct taste.

The 33rd annual Lexington Barbecue Festival took place on Saturday in uptown Lexington. Thousands of pork lovers crowded the streets to get a taste of one southern, savory treat. 

WFMY News 2 spoke to a couple who is originally from California, but recently moved to Burlington. They admitted they were impressed with what Lexington had to offer. 

The festival came complete with a massive sand sculpture of pigs, pig races, craft vendors, and rides.
