CROP Hunger Walk In High Point Aims To Feed The Hungry

CROP Walk Fights Hunger

HIGH POINT  - A group in the Triad is fighting to feed the hungry around the world. 

Open Door Ministries of high point partnered with Church World Services for the crop hunger walk this afternoon.
and WFMY News 2 Anchor Julie Luck emceed the event.

The walk offers a 1 mile and 3.4 mile walk. The longer walk shows that people from developing countries typically walk 3.4 miles to get food, water and fuel.

A portion of the money will be used to give food, medical care, and disaster relief to people around the world.
25 percent of it will go to open door ministries of high point.
