Copy of Cumberland County Posts Update on Hurricane Matthew Aftermath

The Cumberland County Government posted on their Facebook page the latest numbers on the aftermath of Hurricane Matthew.

574 people had to be rescued and 4 are missing. All Cumberland County schools and government offices are closed tomorrow. 

503 people are currently housed in shelters. If someone needs a ride to a shelter, they need to call (910) 433-1287. 

The county is currently under a Stage IV Water Shortage Response Ordinance. Officials say they lost pressure in its water distribution system. They are currently working to fix the problem.
