Autopsy: Cause Of Death is 'Undetermined' For Greensboro Woman Found During House Fire

GREENSBORO, N.C.-- The Greensboro Fire Department is investigating a fire that resulted in one death Monday morning.

UPDATE: A preliminary autopsy report from the NC Office of the Chief Medical Examiner lists the cause of death for 81-year-old Carmen Callahan Wood as undetermined. Greensboro Police are still investigating .

According to Chief Dwayne Church, a disabled woman died in a house fire in 4100 block of Walker Ave. Church says the call came in at 11:26 a.m; firefighters saw flames coming out of a window when they arrived on scene. 

Church said he could not elaborate on the extent of the woman's disabilities or release her name yet.

Investigators are still looking for a cause, however, they believe the fire started in the living room.
