It’s that time again for fair rides, cotton candy, and fun games! The 118th annual Central Carolina Fair begins this weekend at the Greensboro Coliseum Complex. Admission is free on opening night Friday, September 9 at 5:00 p.m. The fair runs from Friday, September 9 through Sunday, September 18.

Regular Admission - $6 for Seniors, college students and military with valid ID
Unlimited Ride Wristbands - $26 (individual ride tickets also available)
After 8:00 p.m. on each Saturday - $26 (includes admission plus unlimited ride wristband).
Under 42’’ get in Free
Fair Schedule For This Weekend:
Friday, September 9 – 5:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m. (gates close at 10:00 p.m.)
Saturday, September 10 – 11:00 a.m. – 11:00 p.m. (gates close at 10:00 p.m.)
Sunday, September 11 – 1:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. (gates close at 9:00 p.m.)

This music filled 3-day event is all free to you! The National Folk Festival returns to downtown Greensboro Friday, September 9 – Sunday, September 11. The event features performances and demonstrations by more than 300 of the nation’s finest musicians, dancers, and crafts people. It will also feature more than 40 performing groups on seven different stages.

National Folk Festival Schedule
Friday, September 9:  6:00 – 10:30 p.m.
Saturday, September 10:  noon – 10:30 p.m.
Sunday, September 11:  noon – 6:30 p.m.

Get ready for candy apples, live music, and so much more at the 2016 Bush Hill Heritage Festival on Saturday, September 10. It’s hosted by the Archdale-Trinity Chamber of Commerce. The fair includes more than 260 vendors, live music, a children’s stage, car show, Big Wheel race and more. The festival lines the streets of Trindale Road (N.C. 62), Hillcrest Drive, West White Drive, and Bonnie Place. The event is from 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

Cultures from all over the world will be showcased and celebrated at the International Village Food and Music Festival in downtown Winston-Salem. The event will be held Saturday, September 10 from noon until 8:00 p.m. in the Corpening Plaza. It includes music, dancing, fashion shows, food, arts and crafts vendors and much more. There’s also a Naturalization Ceremony at 11:00 a.m.

The High Point Police Department will open its doors to the community on Saturday, September 10th from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. The event includes free hot dogs and hamburgers, games, prices, and activities for kids. It also includes free flu shots for adults from Cone Health, K9 and Tact Team Demonstration, and Cops vs Kids Kickball game.
