Dogs Rescued From Puppy Mills Up For Adoption Saturday

GREENSBORO, N.C. – The Guilford County Animal Shelter says some of the dogs rescued from two suspected puppy mills will be ready for adoption Saturday.

Assistant Director Dana King says a total of 18 poodles will be available to adopt. King says there are still a couple of the dogs still recovering from surgery and won't be available until later.

King told WFMY News 2 says the shelter is doing it's best to help with bringing animals in from hoarding-type situations and giving them the care they need. She believes people understand what to look for in these types of incidents and are reporting them more often.
