Eden Lifts State of Emergency Following Tornado

EDEN, N.C. -- On Monday afternoon, Eden City Officials lifted the State of Emergency that was put in place on Friday as a result of the tornado. 

The National Weather Service confirmed the tornado was an EF-1 category storm with maximum winds of 110 mph with a 3.3-mile path that was 375 yards wide.

There were no deaths or injuries. City officials say dozens of homes and businesses were damaged.
