Fire Marshal: Woman Arrested After Setting Car On Fire

EDEN, N.C. – An Eden woman was arrested Friday for setting a car on fire.

Rockingham County Fire Marshal Robert Cardwell told WFMY News 2 Angela Dawn McBride, 39, of Eden was arrested on charges of Burning Personal Property.

Around 3 a.m., the Leaksville Fire Department, along with Stoneville and Shiloah fire departments, responded to a fully-involved car on fire near a home at 3011 Price Garafe Road in Eden.

Cardwell said firefighters quickly got the fire under control, but the car was completely destroyed.

McBride was placed in Rockingham County Jail and is currently without bond.
