Free Fans For Seniors In Need In Davidson County

DAVIDSON COUNTY, N.C. -- The Davidson County Senior Services is making sure seniors in need get a break from the heat this summer.

The organization is giving away free fans supplied by Dominion Resources, Duke Energy Foundation, Duke Energy Progress and Valassis. In order to qualify for a free fan a senior must live in Davidson County, they must also be 60 years of age or older, or with a disability, and must have a home situation where a treat to health and well-being exists.

If you or someone you know meets the requirements visit the Lexington Senior Center located at 555-B West Center Street Ext. or the Thomasville Senior Center located at 211 West Colonial Drive, Monday – Friday from 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
