Gas Shortage Won't Threaten School Buses

GREENSBORO, NC -- Motorists are worried about a number of things during the gas shortage. Things like going to work, doing errands, and, of course, completely running out of gas.

But parents can worry about one less thing while gas stations wait on more fuel: getting the kids to school.

School buses run on diesel fuel. Guilford County Schools has their own diesel pump at the bus depot.

The Colonial Pipeline says the leak will mostly affect unleaded gasoline. If you drive a car or truck that runs on diesel, you should be fine.
