Girl Scout Cookies Now By The Bowl With New Cereals

CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Eating an entire roll of Girl Scout cookies before 10 a.m. may be frowned upon in many American households, but a cereal giant looks to help remove that stigma.

A General Mills spokesperson told BuzzFeed that starting January 2017, the cereal company will be selling Girl Scout cookie-flavored cereals.

General Mills plans to have the new series available in Thin Mint and Samoas flavors. It's unclear whether the company plans to release additional flavors.

Girl Scouts also recently announced the sale of two new s'mores flavored cookies, also being expected to hit the shelves in the 2017 year.
