Annual Fundraiser Proves Men Can Cook

15th Annual Men Can Cook Fundraiser

GREENSBORO, N.C. -- Men are taking over your kitchen for a good cause.  On Saturday, September 24, 2016, fifty men from the community will volunteer their time and their skillet skills to help the Women's Resource Center.

The Men Can Cook fundraiser provides crucial fundraising for women in need.  The Women's Resource Center of Greensboro is a local non-profit organization to assist women in the community.

The center assists nearly 9,000 women each year who need support and access to services as they develop new skills to move their lives forward.

Men Can Cook is a very exciting event with over a 1,000 people attending each year!

"In addition to the delicious food – our incredible Silent Auction raises over 50% of all the event’s proceeds and is critical to its success!," said Barbee.
The Women’s Resource Center uses the funds raised at Men Can Cook to help women to navigate life’s hurdles, obtain jobs, gain self-esteem, locate affordable childcare, access free legal information, and much, much more.
The Men Can Cook event is September 24, 2016 at the Greensboro Coliseum Special Events Center from 6:00 – 9:00 pm.
