Bridal Beauties: Pump Iron, Burn Fat & Drop Pounds

Greensboro, N.C. -- The Triad has supported WFMY News 2's Tracey McCain on her weight loss efforts from the very start. "Thank you for motivating me past my goal!"

The Good Morning Show Anchor announced her 50 pound weight loss from January 2014 to July 2014 -- just 30 days out from her wedding in August.

Personal Trainer and Fitness Model Strawn Wilson is working with Tracey to achieve those goals. Wilson says in order to lose weight and build muscle without sacrificing curves, ladies shouldn't be afraid to pump a little iron.

Wilson talked about the myths surrounding women who lift weights. "You're not going to get bulky or look like a man," said Wilson.

"You'll lose 40 percent more fat, calories and your clothes will fit better," added Wilson, who owns Wilson's Training/Results Fitness in High Point.
