Bugs And Pests Are Coming For You This Summer

How to Spot Termites in Your Home

GREENSBORO, N.C. -- It's kind of a given if you live in North Carolina.  There will be bugs and there will be a lot of them.  Though, fire ants are some of the worst.  They're so small you can't see them, but if they bite, you'll feel the sting for days.

Wednesday on the Good Morning Show Southern Evergreen Home Expert Tom Garcia showed you how to prevent and stop summer pests from invading your home.

"These ants can be very aggressive and once one bites, it sends out pheromones to the other ants to start biting as well.  The bites of fire ants can be extremely painful," explained Garcia.

Garcia and Billy Tesh from Pest Management recommends using a bait system to kill off the entire mound.

Watch the videos included in this story to see expert tips on ways to eliminate ants, termites and roaches from taking over your home.
